Crunchy Games

 Games that add more rules/ complexity make it harder for people to play and understand. The said game systems in question look daunting to players who don't play crunchy systems. As a game designer you need to play your own games/ systems in order to understand said systems that are too crunchy.

It's that the rules needed to do x or y are based on the level of needing to use and or perform said rules.
