Mixing Casual Elements and RPG elements

Introduction

Many of the NSFW games use a mix of casual and RPG elements and use them to a great affect. To go over the things that make them addictive and be able to be used in a non-NSFW game setting for others to copy down the path of.

Casual loop, complex stats

This may seem to work against each other but in reality you can have the two go deeper and become entangled in a way that doesn't stop one gameplay loop from interfering with the other. You want to play a simple connect gems strat? Go ahead, want to auto battle it instead with you doing little to nothing? Go ahead!

The complex stats are the more in depth nerdy stuff. There is a seamless switch between type 1 and type 2 (passive and active play) which in turn makes it addictive. You can tackle levels in a under leveled manner as long as you're playing smart but playing dumb? You need to grind.

Passive and active play

A lot of missions you can play super passive but if you do choose to play active you can in turn speed up the progress/ decrease the rate of failure even if the missions are easy or even spare resources for other characters later on to make them more powerful.

Making the gameplay have depth

Many of the failed NSFW games don't realize this but your gameplay needs some form of depth, even the simplest ones do. Fap Goddess as an example has it where gems of your girls only drop, meaning you can RNG manipulate and depending on the mission choose certain girls for certain abilities.

Along with giving them different abilities such as healing, DPS focus, etc. These more in depth elements make the games worth playing even if the gameplay loop is very simple.

Not require too much brain power

At the same time, you can just focus on raw power and have to wait longer to get through the same missions. Yes the strat in the short run will be faster but in the long run will be slower and you will hit a wall much faster.

NSFW rare drops

Yes as bizarre as it is to say about a NSFW game the NSFW needs to be rare/  tease the player along like a carrot on a stick. You force the player to dance to your song and dance at the end of the day. So yeah that's all you need to know about these kind of games.

In conclusion

These genre of games are fun and enjoyable because the journey to the content is enjoyable, otherwise people move on.
